Any trip south on I-35 from Dallas requires a stop at the Czech Stop. Why?

I discovered this awesome bakery when I would travel back home to visit from my teaching job in Killeen, Texas. Now the only time I get to eat any of the mouth watering treats in when we make a trip to South Padre. Stopping at the Chech Stop Bakery is one of the highlights of our trip. I always think I've gotten quite a bit of them, but they never last long enough. I love the cream cheese kolaches and the sausage and cheese rolls. We're planning a trip soon and we'll be stopping on the way to the beach and on the way back.

From the interstate, this little place appears to be a gas station. Sure, you can fill up the tank, but do NOT leave without filling up your tummy with the best Kolaches in the state of Texas!
