My Grandfsther helped build the George Washington Bridge in NYC so I knew when I saw a picture of Iron Workers eating lunch and another of the George Washington Bridge hanging on the wall, that I would love this place! The only thing we've ever ordered here is Pizza and it's outstanding! Great place for families!

Carmines, especially the one on Spring Valley and Montfort (the original) has the best pizza in town. Its a quaint little Mom and Pop pizza place. The same people have been working there for 15 years. You want it good, order a fresh pizza and skip the pizza by the slice. Great service, they cook your pizza and yell at you when its done...

It's a pizza joint, very independent and neighborhood feel, in other words not chainy. The service (counter that is) is pretty uninspired and unhelpful, but if you know what you want then no problem. The tv's are usually blaring pretty loudly, so if you want quiet this isn't the place. Overall, good family dining experience, even better for take out.

Bad Experience with Manager

We order on a consistant basis for our company, probbably twice a week. On a couple occasions we have had minor discrepencies in the order, when we called the store to let them know so it could be corrected, they argued with us that they were correct and the manager would not give me his name or the owner's name. Then he proceded to tell us that we were liars, and that we were not allowed to order from them any more. Horrible service.
