Cheap and GOOOOOD food. A college students dreams. But you had better get there by three because they close way too early. But as lunch spot, this is as good as it gets in Austin.

In that hazy morning after a late show time, nothing satisfies like a trip to Tamale House #3. The breakfast burritos are the most popular item, and they're so big that it only takes two to fill me up. The restaurant itself is just a large kitchen, with enough room for a line to place orders. Be sure you know what you want, because the lines get long and they'll be able to serve you as fast as you can get the words out of your mouth. A word of warning though, it's hot in the summertime, as there is no air conditioning. But that is a small price to pay to be able to sit on the stairs outside, eating your (usually under $3) breakfast and rubbing elbows with the band you caught last night at Emo's.
