If you are in Chapel Hill, you have to stop at Crook's. The menu is constantly changing, so you are always in for a surprise. I had the Goat Cheese Salad followed by the Cheese Pork (a must have if it is on the menu). I was surprised to read the previous review ... we thought things through and made reservations (which are suggested), just because they save half the tables for walk-ins doesn't mean that they won't fill up ... after all, people do walk-in, that's kind of the point. Anyhow, simply an amazing restaurant!

We drove 600 miles to Chapel Hill and were told 50% of the tables were held for walk-ins. When we arrived no tables had been held for walk-ins, there were no apologies, no explanations. It was a big disappointment after driving so far.

Overall this is some of the best food in the South. A must-eat if you're in the Triangle.
