One of the jewels that can still be found within the city limits of Detroit. Since 1951 Scotty Simpson's has been creating the most fabulous lunches and dinners all out of a kitchen that opens straight into the dinning room. Very friendly folks - ataff and patrons - with other diners offering suggestions and telling their personal stories about how long they've been coming to Scotty's. "I'm from Toledo, and whenever I can, I drive out of my way to get some of Scotty's fish", reported a middle-age guy at the next table. A silver haired guy two tables away says that he comes every day, but saves Saturdays for shrimp.
