This place has amazing food and great service. Their bar is amazing well stocked. If your expecting Mexican food, they have some of what you'd expect, but the majority of the menu was dishes that I would expect at an upscale fine ding place. Rich sauces and little touches like diced mango salsa on one of the fish dinners (mahi mahi, i think). Check it out.

Went there during one of their "Artists Open House" nights. They had a free buffet that was wonderful, then we ordered drinks and a meal, food was great, service was quick, and drinks were ample

In the hole of a city that is Detroit, Agave is a welcome Oasis. In what appears to be a posh and upscale Mexican restaurant based on the decor and menu options, the prices are tough to beat. I went there on a Friday night and there were still plenty of open tables. The service was superb, always plenty of outstanding chips and salsa and the dish was prepared to my liking-a hard task considering how picky of an eater I am.
