Report this?Vegetarians who dine out in the U.S. get pretty accustomed to finding that special corner of the menu that highlights a small selection of salads, vegetable stir fries, pasta dishes with vegetables, maybe a couple of tofu-based items, and perhaps a veggieburger. Then there are the stereotypical counterculture-inspired veggie restaurants that specialize in macrobiotic melanges of grains, vegetables, nuts, and the like. This is NOT the experience at the Chicago Diner.
