Comments, reviews and star rating for El Zorrito restaurant, Roswell - GA.
Old Town San Diego in Atlanta

Being from San Diego, I've been privy to some of the best authentic Mexican food anywhere...this restaurant is a saving grace here in Roswell. The carnitas are cooked to pork perfection, their seafood comes fresh everyday--try a (Mexican) shrimp cocktail for a light dinner on a hot day or the ceviche and their mole sauce would rival any I've had anywhere. Sweet, that slightly hidden essence of smooth chocolate, with a spicy bite on the tail end--just like mole should be! Their margaritas are worth the trip alone.

This is typical traditional Mexican food. I spent over two months in Mexico City years ago. Have spent a total of six months in Mexico. The food at El Zorrito takes me back ... this is authentic, is not the Tex-Mex found in chain restaurants. And, if you know Spanish, then service is impeccable because then there is no language barrier. Some may say the decorating needs some attention, but did I mention this is traditional and takes me back to Mexico? If you have not been to real Mexico (not the touristy spots) then you won't understand.

Crowded and a full parking lot are a great recommendation. The last time, I parked a block and a half north and walked back.
