We live locally and have been to the Sonny's (Apopka) on Semoran Blvd. 3 times, for dinner, over an 18 month period. Consistently, each time the chicken was undercooked and the rib meat was tough - not "falling off the bone" as advertised. Every time the food came out lukewarm, at best, and had to be sent back. The french fries were barely cooked and were cool/cold in the center. Service was routinely slow and inconsistent with the server either messing up our order or forgetting side dishes. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired as it looks like it is rarely done under tables/booths - food bits all over the floor.

If you want the best BBQ in town then go to Sonnys. I have to say that it is one of my favorite places to eat. The people are nice the food is great. What can I say but mmmm...
