For a true, greasy spoon dining experience, nothing in Colorado beats Davies' Chuck Wagon Diner. The food is basic yet delicious. The atmosphere is unbeatable- the only true '50s dining car I have ever seen in this state. Every booth has its own mini jukebox filled mostly with classic country hits-no Tracy Byrd here! The waitstaff calls you "hon" and takes good care of you. Sadly, the diner is only open for breakfast and lunch- they close at 3pm. No more cheap, satisyfing dinners but I'm just happy they're still open after all these years! When I step inside, sit down at a booth and start sipping my bottomless cup of coffee, I know that everything's gonna be alright.
