I have been a Highlands resident for over 9 years, and while I usually rave about this place, my most recent experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Our salad orders were forgotten, we weren't offered bread, my fish was dry, and the service was awful. This is not what I expect when I'm paying over $100 for a meal.

Highland's Garden Cafe is our favorite restaurant. The food is always consistantly delicious and interesting. The wine list is broad yet affordable. The restaurant is in two converted Victorian homes and located in a great neighborhood. Their gardens are fabulous for outside summer dining.
