This darling place is the next best thing to tucking into a European streetside cafe. No, the portions aren't big. Most of us who've lived or even traveled in Europe don't choose restaurants based on quantity. It's a Swiss confiserie. Savor the flavor and enjoy every bite. You'd be crazy not to love it.

Andre's is a special treat for our office for lunch. Sure, it is cozy, but the clientel has no problem with it, it adds to the charm. I've never been disappointed with the food or the service. The two entrees vary and it is always special when one of your favorites is being served the day you come. And the servings are 'enough'. With dessert, you leave satisfied - not stuffed or starved. And the desserts...

The appeal of this restaurant is not gargantuan "American-size" portions, super-size drinks and fries, but rather, a pleasant, comfortable European-style dining experience that will fully satisfy your taste buds. The food is first rate, the delectable desserts are some of the finest in the U.S., and the service is friendly and warm. By the way, a 21 dollar meal (plus tip) that feeds two with full plate, dessert, and coffee is a bargain. Don't listen to the cheap people. Also, this is a great place for dates!

I have been going to Andre's and I love it. Yes, there are only 2 choices everyday but they vary. I love the quiches and beeftips, the meatballs are very good. The portions seem small but when you eat everything including the small dessert you are full but not stuffed.

I can't understand why anyone would go to this place. The little wooden tables and little wooden chairs are so tightly squeezed together that I felt it necessary to say "I guess we'll be joining you for lunch" to the couple sitting next to us. Cozy it was, not! I practically had to climb over my neighbors kness to get to my chair. For lunch you get 2 and only 2, choices. My choice consisted of two 2x3x1/4 inch pieces of french bread, grilled w/ swiss cheses and butter, 4 slices of a very small tomato seasoned nicely, and a teeny tiny bowl of chopped leaf lettuce (they called it a salad) w/ a nice dijon vinegarette. My mother, whose birthday we were celebrating, had the chicken curry. It consisted of 1/2 cup of spagetti w/ 7 slices of chicken breast and the same "salad", except mom's salad had 1 slice of carrot. The curry sauce looked like it was made w/ Campbell's soup and curry powder. For dessert they bring a tray of teeny tiny pasteries which you may choose one. We each had a drink, and this whole meal w/ tip cost $25.00. Thank God we had a gift certificate and didn't have to waste any of our own money. I will never go again, and I will never recommend Andre's.

The taste reminded me of my last trip to France. I have already ordered pastries for my next dinner party.
