We've been to Cactus a bunch of times & have never been disappointed. The food is fresh, the price is reasonable and they have a little fountain for the kiddies to play at.

Cactus serves really good food at very moderate prices. I live nearby and I've been eating at Cactus 2+ times a month for over 4 years. If you are anywhere near Solano Avenue (Berkeley), it is a great find. The restaurant can be a little loud at times, but it is fun to go to. There is usually a line... always a good sign that it is a tasty restaurant favored by the locals.

Down-to-earth Mexican eatery; you get to stand in line & order your food at the counter. Nothing extravagant, but good food for a very fair price. I like their tamales & burritos. If you're not looking for fancy dining but do want good food, go for it!
