I ate at Barney's on Solano Ave. in Berkeley. The service was terrible and the food was horrid. How they put gourmet in their title, I will never know.

Been there a dozen times. More than just gourmet burgers, it's all good! Can be quite busy-once you're finally seated, you should expect to wait for menus, for waters, for orders to be taken, and wait even longer for your meal to arrive. You'll have to flag down server for your bill, too. But all in all, B's is exceptional in carrying out its mission. Worthy of all those awards. Good value.
