Talk about a cool place out in the middle of nowhere, Slash X has great burgers, COLD BEER and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend stopping by there; you will be hooked. Don't forget your hat!!

The absolute best place for cold beer, burgers & fries, music from a juke box, pool and the best service around. Too bad the Tinas quit. Then there was Jessica. She was great. Then she moved on. Now they have a new staff with the same great service. Cold beer, shade, and burgers.

This shanty bar is no stranger to desert racers. The beer is always cold, and the burgers always juicy. If you have never been there before it is easy to find, just go anywhere in between Barstow and Victorville and find a road, follow it north, and there just as a desert oasis will be Slash X.

When you are tired and want some real relaxation..go to the Slash X! :) It is a unique place to enter into. You don't have to worry about being too formal. Just RELAX and ENJOY! It is a great resting place on your journey! The food isn't bad either. Remember to drink and drive responsibly. When you are in the area stop in and you won't be sorry that you did. We love the place! :)

First and foremost the Slash X serves up friendliness. Stop in twice and you are a regular. I've spent many an evening there while having business in the High Desert. Every 6 months or so I crave a visit to see old friends, shoot the breeze, and eat. And I mean eat. Don't come without bringing an appetite. Say hello to Dave, Tina 1, Tina 2, Kelly, Randy and the rest of the gang!! Don't miss it. I've driven 200 miles out of my way to visit the Slash!

If you go to /X you wont be disappointed. Service is outstanding, headed by Tina. The beer is as cold as it gets. If you go there once you will go back; I have nearly 50 times now. Make sure you say Howdy to Tina abd Dave(owner).
