As a pharmaceutical rep. I often look for restaurants that can offer catering according to my hectic schedule. A couple of weeks ago I was seeing some clients in the Auburn area and needed some good, healthy food in a hurry. I decided to call Max's Deli at the last minute to see if they could accomodate me as they usually need 24 hours notice. To the owner's credit he not only took care of my need for lunch for 50 people, but ran my credit info right over the phone and delivered it to the client for me in less than 90 minutes. If it was only that easy every time. In closing I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Max's Deli in Auburn. For any other reps who might come across this review...Max's has a new online menu - www.eatatmaxs.com - thereby making it easier to check out Max's Catering Menu.(This place should not to be confused with the Max's Cafe in Roseville.)

Max's Deli in Auburn, Ca. has just become my new favorite spot. Great sandwiches for anyone who's a fan of well made sandwiches that are both healthy & made fresh. I tried a coconut curried soup lately that was out of this world. Great Italian salumi with provolone on toatsed ciabatta, too.

Great hot pastrami at this local place. They have many other great items too, but I happen to love the Hot Pastrami and the California Reuben.

Great pastami sandwich the first time I was here. Last visit the girl at the counter said the turkey and avocado sandwich on grilled ciabatta was the best selling sandwich they had so I took her advice and ordered one. Great sandwich!!!! Had some of the Coco-curry soup too. The food here is top notch, very fresh tasting.
