"The Hill". A great restaurant frequented by locals as well as passers-through. I know of some that drive for an hour for their Lamb Chops or Chicken Picatta. The Tri-tip Salad is a favorite as is the Friday night special, Angus Prime Rib. Great creamed and French onion soups too. The vegetables are cooked just right.

Vincent Hills is a hidden gem. My boyfriend and I stopped here for a quick glass of wine on our way to Lancaster on business. The bar is very cozy and intimate, particular with the fireplace on those chilly nights. While there is a fantastic wine list in the dining room, the selection by the glass is quite limited in the bar. This was the only slight disappointment. The food is awesome. Very generous portions that are reasonably priced. Service is impeccable -- friendly and knowledgeable.

I had dinner here this past Sunday and couldn't believe that I have lived in Palmdale for 6 years and hadn't made it there any sooner! My companion had Salmon that was so well prepared, it felt like butter on the tongue; I had the Cajun style Shrimp Scampi which was out of this world. The Creme Brulee was good. The topping was not crunchy but rather a bit gummy due to the fact that it had probably been prepared in advance rather just before serving, but the flavor was still there. The custard had a nice amaretto flavor, which was a nice change from the regular vanilla flavor.

My friend and I went in for dinner this last Friday night. We started with the stuffed mushrooms which were incredible. We both ordered the Fillet Mignon. It was wonderful. The service was outstanding and a great time was had by all. We would definitely return.

Great food and service. We especially like the Sunday morning brunch, but dinner is great too.
